5U

5U is the “t-ball” division and is for girls born on September 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018. The registration price includes a jersey with your girl’s name and number, socks, USA player and adult background check fees, equipment provided to coaches, photograph, clinics for the girls, training for the volunteer coaches, and field maintenance.

5U teams typically have 8-10 players, with one field practice and one game per week from early September to mid-November (Fall) and from late January through early May (Spring). Score is not kept in games, and there are no umpires. The games are played only off the tee for the first few games, then coach pitch is allowed later in the season. There is no umpire in 5U, and games/practices may be held on turf or grass depending on field availability.

6U

6U is for girls born between September 1, 2016 and August 31, 2017. The registration price includes a jersey with your girl’s name and number (spring) or soccer style with no name and random number (fall), socks, USA player registration and insurance fees, adult background check fees, equipment provided to coaches, photograph, clinics for the girls, training for the volunteer coaches, field maintenance, and umpire fees.

6U teams typically have 8-10 players, with one field practice and one game per week from early September to mid-November (Fall) and from late January through early May (Spring). This division will use a combination of machine and/or coach pitch with 6U All-Star rules (meaning outs will be recorded and runs will be counted). Games/practices may be held on turf or grass depending on field availability. 6U may be able to get “cage” time if space permits – that would probably be on the weekend (opposite from game day).

7U

7U is for girls born between September 1, 2015 and August 31, 2016. The registration price includes a jersey with your girl’s name and number (spring) or soccer style with no name and random number (fall), socks, USA player registration and insurance fees, adult background check fees, equipment provided to coaches, photograph, clinics for the girls, training for the volunteer coaches, field maintenance, and junior umpire fees.

7U teams typically have 9-11 players, with one field practice, one cage practice, and at least one game per weekend, with additional games possible during the week from early September to mid-November (Fall) and from late January through early May (Spring). 7U games will be modified 8U rules designed to get the girls chances to pitch and play infield that they might not get if they played with the 8-year-olds, like in past seasons, and also designed to keep the games moving so that girls don’t lose interest. There will be girl pitching and outs, but the count will be modified to begin at 1-1 and the girls will be limited to one inning as pitcher per game. A coach will be allowed behind home plate to help return wild pitches quickly.
